H63. Gallipoli, World War, And Bible Prophecy
GALLIPOLI, WORLD WAR, AND BIBLE PROPHECY The Gallipoli campaign is one of the most significant incidents of the First World War, and provided the circumstance which later allowed Lord Allenby to move against Jerusalem from the south, thereby destroying the Turkish control of the Holy Land and providing for the fulfilment of Daniel 11:40 and Luke 21:24. If the Gallipoli campaign had been successful, as planned, the forces would have been able to occupy the capital Istanbul and push westward toward the centre in Ankara as was intended. Presumably then, Allenby would not have executed his northward push, so that history would have changed, and the divine purpose to free Jerusalem of the Ottoman control averted at that time! That was not to be because the site of the landing was changed of necessity through adverse weather. This booklet sets out the reasons behind the incident, and the way in which Bible prophecy was fulfilled. It describes the most revealing and amazing circumstances of recent past history.
