Product Description

Issued August 2002, the stamp shows a sketch of the buildings of Kadoorie School, and a close-up section of its front entrance on the tab.

The site of the agricultural school is at the northern foot of Mt. Tabor in Lower Galilee. It was founded in 1933 and named after Sir Ellis Kadoorie, a Jew from China, whose contribution to the Palestine Mandate Government made possible the establishment of the Jewish School.
