Stamp: Hapoel Games 1991
Issued on 9th April, 1991. The Hapoel Games are held once every four years under the patronage of the President of the State of Isarel. The first Hapoel Meet was in 1928, when all Hapoel members participated in this nationwide event with several days of competitive sports. At first it was an exclusively local event, but in 1952 athletes from overseas workers' sports associations were invited to participate. In 1985 the name was changed from Hapoel Meet to the Hapoel Games. The games are held in the year preceding the Olympic Games and are an excellent preparation for athletes, whose skills and abilities can be tested.
The stamps with an information sheet are enclosed in a plastic protection sheet
